Gap Versus American Apparel

I have a hard time  believing that the Gap´s new advertising campaign by Laird and Partners, which supposedly celebrates their origins as a purveyor of quality denim, was not directly incluenced (ahem, stolen) from American Apparel.  As much as I actually prefer the Gap in terms of their brand messaging and I deplore the hipstery plight of American Apparel, I must side with AA on this one.

Absolutely agree. I mistook the Gap ad for an AA ad on some website over the week-end… Shame on Gap…
