Fast Company put together five of the coolest virtual/augmented reality retail experiences today which include some pretty interesting and some pretty not-so-useful applications.  We have seen a number of brands start to experiment with this type of project from the RayBan virtual mirror, to the GAP product placement in the Minority Report movie.  Our favorite is the lego visualizer which can be seen below!

As cool as these gadgets can be, I am curious how successful they really are in terms of selling.  The in-store products that really effect point-of-purchase decisions can seem to be obtrusive and distracting users, but if done correctly, they can be effective.  Please send any feedback or examples that you have seen.
