When Muji was considering a partner for its latest collection of furniture, they wound up choosing the iconic German company Thonet.  With two different styles, the collection features a Bauhaus-reminiscent desk and chair collection and a revival of the famouns Thonet cafe chair made from the company´s own “bentwood.”  Anybody in the process of furnishing a home or office should consider these affordable and attractive pieces.

Isn’t Thonet Austrian? I thought it was… Loved the Thonet collection at the Pinakothek der Moderne the other day in München.
