Kente Cloth Followup: Pendleton

Though this is NOT Kente cloth, here we see Nike adapting another traditional and timeless cultural textile to their products. Here, it is Pendleton– the wool brand from Portland. We have seen Pendleton used in a lot of collaborations in the past, but these shoes really stuck out (in a good way). In some cases, retail should be about taking common experiences and products and reinventing them with a, sometimes traditional, twist. The pics are from Hypebeast.
