Retail Refugees

As announced a while ago, Microsoft has plans to enter the retail business with a number of concept stores showing off their products. Supposedly, according to Fast Company, some of these store will be located directly next to Apple shops… does Microsoft have a death wish?

The article makes an interesting point… why is it that all of Apple´s competitors are trying to compete with Apple on Apple´s terms…? Why not go after different markets or segments.
