Retail Refugees

LV just finished the facade for its Soho store in celebration of the new collection inspired by Steven Sprouse.  Looks great!  Do you feel that the the streetwear-inspired direction a result of the economic situation?  Obviously streetwear has been becoming more and more trendy lately, which is great considering the talent and innovation of the sector, but perhaps its integration with high fashion labels such as LV is just a ruse for targeting a slightly more downmarket group of customers…
