I´m a PC Commercial

As a rebuttal to the Mac computer commercials of the last few years pitting a “Mac Guy” against a “PC Guy”, Microsoft has dabbled in celebrity endorsements.  While their original campaign featuring an awkwardly ineffectual encounter between Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates was quickly pulled for obvious reasons, their latest attempt at a more straight-forward and intellectual approach with producer and designer, Pharrell Williams (of N.E.R.D. fame) is definitely a step in the right direction.

Microsoft needs to try harder to show why Vista + a PC is better than Apple’s unified hardware/OS approach. The commercials with random ‘I’m a PC’ people don’t tell you anything about Microsoft’s product.
