Kente Cloth Followup: Pendleton

Though this is NOT Kente cloth, here we see Nike adapting another traditional and timeless cultural textile to their products. Here, it is Pendleton- the wool brand from Portland. We have seen Pendleton used in a lot of collaborations in the past, but these shoes really stuck out (in a good way). In some cases, retail should be about taking common experiences and products and reinventing them with a, sometimes traditional, twist. The pics are from Hypebeast.
